Creating your Lemon Balm and Lavender bath salt is easy and only takes a few items. Let’s go through the step by step of creating this bath salt.
- If using fresh herbs, you will need to hang the herbs in a small bundle to dry them before completing this bath salt. You can learn how to dry fresh herbs in this post! You can also use pre-dried herbs that you purchase.

- After completing the process of drying the herbs, remove the leaves from the stem. The leaves will be easier to chop into fine pieces than the stem.

- After removing the leaves, use a wide blade knife and first rough chop the herbs on a cutting boards. After the rough chop to break up any of the largest pieces, contain the herbs in a pile, and run the knife through them several more times until you are left with only small pieces of the herbs.

- Combine the dried and chopped lavender and lemon balm (1/4 cup each) with the Epsom salt (1 cup) and store in a glass jar!

Now that you’ve created your bath salt, you are ready to soak in a stress relieving calming bath. Begin running your bath water. While the water is running scoop at least 2 T of the bath salt into the running water, and give it a vigorous swish to help dissolve the salts.
